***For every comment* left on Love and a Six-Foot Leash posts from December 15th-December 31st 2010, we will donate one pound of high-quality dog food to Lollie’s sugar daddy, the Montgomery County Humane Society. Together, by spreading the word about adoptable Lollie Wonderdog, we can find her a forever home!!***
We are up to 92 comments already! That means 92 pounds of food for homeless animals at the Montgomery County Humane Society come January. Thanks to all, and keep the comments coming!
Date: one of the cold days last week. Location: my boudoir. Feeling: like I need a facelift!
Lollie got it in her head that her chin is too droopy and she needs a facelift — I don’t know if she’s been reading Cosmo or what. I keep telling her that not only fosterdad and I think she is beautiful (and at three years old, far too young for cosmetic surgery anyway), but dozens of adoring fans agree that she is perfect both inside and out. It seems like we’re going to have to work on her self esteem!
Lollie, the only thing those fashion magazines are good for is shredding! Stay away from them and enjoy having the beautiful, furry face you have!
Lollie-pop, don’t listen to those magazines! My chin is getting droopier with age, too, but we need to embrace it!
What a beautiful dog – wrinkles, gray hair, and all those other things are just signs of great character. So kind that you are donating for comments – It would be great to see many more doing something like this for the holidays (or year around) to all the shelters that seem to be busting at the seams. Good for you and great for animals of Montgomery County!
Bleh, Lollie should keep in mind that all the models in those magazines are photo-shopped to cartoonish proportions. No one looks like that in the real life. And that’s a good thing!
We all think she is just beautiful the way she is.
Hi there! I heard about Lollie and your commentathon from Two Pitties in the City. So I had to rush right over. Gosh! Lollie is just about the cutest thing I ever saw. I don’t think she needs a facelift. My momma always says that droopiness is next to godliness. Um, or something like that.
Anyway, my paws are crossed that Lollie finds her furever home very, very soon! And thank you for donating all those noms. That’s most wonderful of you!

what?! that is totally the best part to snuggle…definately my favorite part on both of my boys 🙂
I too heard about your site from Two Pitties in the City and wanted to support your efforts. Lollie is just beautiful, no changes needed.
Hi! We came here from Two Pitties in the City, and wanted to help add to your commentathon! Lollie, we think you are gorgeous just as you are. My sister (who crossed the bridge last spring) was 20 years old (seriously – she was a miniature poodle, and ANCIENT!) had loose skin under her chin that Mom and Dad called ‘neck dwadle’ and would stroke lovingly. My sister (her name was TaiChi) LOVED it. So maybe a little loose skin is a good thing – hit the parents up for chin strokes… 😉

What a cute photo…wanted to get another comment in for your great cause!
We call it the floofy neck in my household and my Stella likes it to be rubbed, scratched, and even tugged on! it may get a bit droopy but the pleasure is worth it!
She’s such a cutie. I love reading about her.
