Calling All Questions for Lollie!

***For every comment* left on Love and a Six-Foot Leash posts from December 15th-December 31st 2010, we will donate one pound of high-quality dog food to Lollie’s sugar daddy, the Montgomery County Humane Society. Together, by spreading the word about adoptable Lollie Wonderdog, we can find her a forever home!!***

First things first. Lollie wants to know: does this hoodie make her look fat? At 50 pounds of pure muscle and bone she is far from it– in fact, getting her to put on weight has been a real challenge. Still, she almost threw a fit when she saw this photo. I think she looks adorable; she thinks she looks fat. Dear friends, please settle our debate.

Second: tomorrow is Lollie’s second open-forum Q&A session for her readers!! You can check out the first one here. We will be accepting questions all the way up to tomorrow morning, so if you have a burning need to know, just tell us! You can post your question in a comment or email us directly at DCPetographer [at] gmail [dot] com.

And last but certainly not least, our dear friend over at Love-A-Bull is offering a cash donation to our fabulous local animal shelter for every responsible pit bull owner’s story in the comments on her blog. If you are a pit owner and lover, please stop by and share your tale!

  1. Lollie you look healthy with a little more junk in your trunk!
Here’s my question: If you could go on a walk with any famous person (alive or dead) who would you pick to hold the other end of your leash?

  2. She looks fantastic!

Both of my girls are from the Washington Humane Society…I had a terrible time getting them to gain weight. Had some luck with yogurt, peanut butter, gravy or raw egg on kibble, etc.

  3. Lollie, are you kidding me? Now I know that we big-chested girls have to be careful about what we wear but you don’t looks fat in that at all! In fact, you make that hoodie look GOOOOD!

Okay, my question for you is: What would your Most Perfect furever home be like?

    Wiggles & Wags,
    Mayzie

  4. Lollie, you look like a million bucks as always…most dogs would do anything to be able to pull that off as well as you! My question is , will you make sure to tell your future adopters that I am part of the deal and I need to get at least occasional visitation rights?

  5. Dear Lollie,

You are one supermodel of a pit bull. My pit BLU (100 pounds of love and testosterone) says if you lived closer he’s like to take you on a doggie date because you are his kind of hot mama. Happy holidays–and BLU hopes you find your forever home very soon.

  6. Lollie you are so gorgeous! And you seem like a real love bug too. You should ask your foster mom to adopt you for real… it seems like you have already made yourself at home 😉

    • We agree that she is gorgeous and super lovey, but we are committed to adopting her out so we can continue to save doggie lives. It will be hard to let her go, but we are also really excited for her to find her forever home! Also, don’t forget to submit your questions for Lollie for tomorrow’s Q&A session!

      typed telephonically. please excuse tybos.

  7. She is beautiful! She has the same build and weight as my dog June, 50lbs of lean muscle. I have tried everything to get my pit bull June to gain weight. She looks great and the red sweater is cute. Hopefully she gets a forever home soon!

  8. Girlfriend! You look FABULOUS!!! (If you want to see a lard butt, look at my sister! Just kidding; she’s not fat, either – she just has child-bearing hips… Luckily no child-bearing parts!) Our question is: snow or no snow – what’s your preference?

  9. Lollie,

Dolly the Pit Bill (Orlando, FL) told me of your story. You are beautiful girl. You remind me so much of my pit bull named Gilligan. He loves veggies too and does the exact same as you do when you pet him . Rearend up in the air, rolls over and also licks like crazy when you give him love. Gilligan’s story goes like this….As a little pup (8 weeks old) the owner of the Naturecoast Animal Shelter in Brooksville, FL who lives on site at the shelter, came out one morning and heard some noise coming from under his boat. There sat little Gilligan scared, cold and all alone, hence the name he received “Gilligan” He was so little that he stood in his dog bowl. I could not walk away from him. Now he is my best friend. He must give kisses when I get home and when it’s time for bed he loves to cuddle of course on his back with his feet in the air. Best of luck to you Lollie. I wish I could adopt you.

  10. You look adorable Lollie! I wish I could get my pup to wear sweaters, etc. He’s always trying to get them off while shooting me the most devistating looks!!

  11. Gorgeous Lollie ! If I wasn’t far far away and had my own home , she would be cuddling in my arms right now 🙂 Lots of love 4 the cutest pit in the cutest hoodie ever :*

  12. I really like the hoodie, and I was going to ask you where you got it. Sometimes Miss M doesn’t like to wear her coat because I think the fabric is too itchy, so I was looking into more t-shirt materials, but it’s always hard to find ones that fit over her pitty chest.

  13. My question for Lollie:
Where did you find that adorable sweatshit?! It is so fantastically flattering on you. I think my pretty little girl would appreciate such a sweater, too. Do tell!

  14. Bella, Ranger and Danté, Pit Bulls all, say that you are totally adorable in your hoodie! Bells in particular would like to know your diet as she could stand to gain a few pounds too. You are a beautiful girl and we all hope that you find a wonderful “furever” home..seems like the season for something extra special good to happen to a beautiful pittie girl!

  15. Was she holding the treat out in her left hand, or had she given you the treat already, and you were feeling slightly bored/slightly amused at being photographed?

  16. Lollie, Lollie, Lollie. While no, of course you don’t look fat, don’t you know that beauty has nothing to do with the number on the scale? No matter how much you weigh, and it is probably not enough, you are one of the most gorgeous dogs I have ever seen. Especially in red. Especially with that hood.

Here is a question, how do you make time to answer all of your adoring fan mail? It must be coming in droves!

  17. Lollie looks super-fab in that hoodie! I hope I’m not too late to submit a question! Here’s mine just in case: If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring with you and why?
