We’ve had some recent bouts of rain, which make our own dog Chick very grumpy, but don’t ruffle Lollie’s feathers in the least. She bulldozes puddles as though they didn’t exist, and downpours barely make her blink an eye, even when a rain drop falls into it.
And rain drops do fall into her eyes, because even during rain showers, she is keeping her constant squirrel vigil. She just hasn’t figured out yet that the fuzzy little tree rodents cleverly stay indoors when it’s wet.

We don’t really mind the rain either! Mama doesn’t like it though because we always drag our ears through the puddles! Haha!!

My girls seem to think the rain will harm them
Now that is rare that she doesn’t mind the rain. I was always under the impression that all dogs just melted away and refused to go out. Our lives would be so much easier if our dogs were ‘waterproof’ like Lollie. I love her concentration in that photo.
Can Lollie teach Darwin how to ignore the rain? Especially living in Seattle you think she’d get used to it!
Oh, Lollie! You’re MUCH braver than me! Aren’t you skeered the water will wash away your Most Beautiful brindle spots?
Wiggles & Wags,

That’s awesome Lollie is a rain dog! I love the umbrella. It looks like she’s ready to sing.
Oh Lollie! Despite being an Irish breed, Anouk refuses to go outside when it is raining. I tell her she wouldn’t have been much use in Ireland, but she ignores me. She’s good at that.
Your picture with the umbrella is my new desktop background. We love it!
We hope you find your forever home really soon sweet girl!
