return of le cone

When she got her stitches out from her spay a few days ago, Lollie was dismayed to learn that while she is healing up nicely, she will have to wear her embarassing bandage and le cone de shame a little longer. Here is what she thinks about that:

    Did she stick out her tongue all on her own or is that a trick you taught her?? If that’s a trick, I’d love to know how you did that. Too brilliant.

    • I will tell you, but only because you are such a loyal and special friend to Lollie 🙂 I rubbed some peanut butter on her nose. It works amazingly well. I wonder if I could train her to do it on command . . . wouldn’t that be something?

      • Ahhhh, I should have thought of that myself.

        I bet you could. Sounds like a good challenge! I just finished teaching my dog her last trick. Maybe I’ll give it a whirl…
